All Youth Talent Night, March 14, 6 pm. Galilee kids from 3 to 18 years of age will be sharing a wide variety of God-given talents. Come cheer them on and be blessed!
The Monday night co-ed Bible study group will begin a new series of lessons, "Experiencing the Resurrection," starting March 9 through April 13. A great time to join in"see the Welcome Center for more info and to sign up.
What do the Jewish Passover and Jesus' last supper have in common? Steve Wertheim, with Jews for Jesus, will answer that question as he presents "Christ in the Passover" on Palm Sunday, March 28 at the 9 am service. You'll gain wonderful insights on how the pieces of Gods plan of salvation fit together and youll remember this visual display of the Passover pageantry for years to come. Join us and bring a friend!
Come celebrate what God is doing among us at Galilee's Annual Meeting Sunday evening, March 28 at 6 pm. Amendments to the church constitution, concerning term rotation and the definition of a quorum, are proposed for adoption at that meeting. Handouts with more information and the language of the changes are available at the Welcome Center in the Fellowship Hall.
The Lori Rickard Benefit Concert - May 4th - 7:00 at the Rialto Theatre - featuring Billy Sprague (singer/songwriter), Stephen Tindle (Indian flute/singer), and Sandra Thiessen (singer/songwriter). The devastation in Haiti and now in Chili has gripped our hearts. The churches of Converge Rocky Mountain are called to band together to bring God's hope to this hopeless situation. Global Engagement leader Terry Jarvis is pulling together a team to develop a long term strategy for Haitian relief. If you would like more information contact Terry at tjarvis@missionhills.org. Pray for the people in both nations; ask God what He would have you do.
Each Sunday morning Ushers greet you, give you a worship folder, assist with finding seats and take the morning offering. They also smile a lot! Would you like to join their ranks? See Lew Niemczyk or Don Swanstrom. Training will be provided.
The next Tuesday Women's Bible Studies begin March 30th. This six-week study will help us experience lasting JOY with a "Thirst-Quenching Look at Philippians" by Tianne Moon. Committee chairpersons and ministry leaders--Written reports for the Annual Report are due in the church office no later than Monday, March 8.
Notices for the worship folder and/or the slide presentations need to be in to the church office by noon on Thursdays. Written announcements with complete details are greatly appreciated! Thank you.
Items left in the church with no owner identification will be donated to charitable organizations after three weeks. Please check around for anything that may belong to you!
