What is Worship?

Scripture instructs that we "speak to one another with psalms, and hymns and spiritual songs" (Ephesians 5:19 and Colossians 3:16). At Galilee Baptist Church, we take this instruction to heart when we meet for worship and celebration. Our musicians and support teams are committed to honoring God with the gifts He has given them. At Galilee, we recognize that worship extends beyond music and celebration into every area of our lives as believers. But when we meet together, we acknowledge a special privilege: that God Himself is the audience to our worship, and we, the congregation, lift our voices together to honor Him and encourage one another.
